EpiHelp - My Online Health Community

EpiHelp is a global internet eHealth application for people who search or provide health information, patients as well as care givers. Information about health, fitness and wellness are being provided from certified sources and consolidated user entries. EpiHelp addresses any internet user, uses collective intelligence tools (crowd sourcing) and thus can be titled a smart PHR.

Search common symptoms and diagnoses

EpiHelp answers any relevant question right after the search item entry: search diagnoses or frequent false diagnoses displays all results from the community considering the relevance and frequency. Unlike the package insert at EpiHelp real users have reported and rated their results in a patient self report. Video

How are my treatment options

Depending on location and discipline of your physician or care giver your treatment plan will vary dramatically. Therefore EpiHelp asks the community for displaying treatment options and success rates. Any information at EpiHelp is accessible at the user level with a simple web interface. Video

The EpiProfile manages all important details

Any of the important factors affecting people’s health are saved in the EpiProfile. Important changes like improving the diet, physical exercise or the cessation of smoking or consumption of alcohol are saved in chronological order. This helps the user build up a history file and document important changes. Video

The EpiHelp community – my personal choice

Die EpiHelp Community ermöglicht The EpiHelp community allows for peer to peer information exchange. A multitude of filters may be applied for searching relevant peers. The most important search criteria are likely to be search user with same symptoms or search users with went through treatments that I need to decide for. Video
